THROUGH NATURE AND SPIRITUALITY

No body or thing is immortal like God
and soul. Soul is infused in our body by God at the time of our coming into
being in this world. Our birth and death are not under our control. It is His
prerogative to destroy what He creates to maintain balance and many harrowing
events/ situations. Anybody which takes birth fructifies, dwindles and dies
down as per will of God. No doubt the quality of life, being a key, is in our
hands and to this effect, many have heralded their voices. If we do not pay
heed and turn Nelson’s eye to our health our body will soon start flashing red
signals about its deterioration. Also we may start facing old age problems even
when we are young. So, always feel young to remain young. If we undertake
proper exercises (including Yogic) and other prescribed movements of our body
our cells (body) regenerate and thus we can avoid or delay ageing before time
The need is to become a disciplined and determined person to retard or overcome
health problems. Life is the name of movement, not stagnation. Swami
Vivekananda said that our thoughts and spoken words hold the key to our actions
and self-evolutions. Therefore, we should breed flexible and pure/ sanctified
thoughts in our mind. Our real life movie with pleasure, satisfaction and
qualitative change will start only when we become determined to maintain our
health with God’s blessings and our virtues completely fine-tuning life. It is
only due to our virtues that we can avoid wandering of our soul in different
inhuman entities. We have taken human form, surpassing all forms.
You should not have impulsive mind,
never be egoistic, boast and use curt language for anyone as these create many
health problems. Never cross your limitations and antagonize someone while
dealing with others as this habit causes impediment in socializing. Socializing
forges unity in diversity, bolsters our relations and retards many bruises/
barriers of life. Do not brood over the past or rake the dead issues but try to
adopt a policy of “forgive and forget.” Keep Serotonian (positive hormone in
brain) intact at high level as it is vital in balancing mood in depression and
helping in relaxation. Anchor inside you the positivity for advancement. Avoid
intake of medicines, as far as possible. Eat a little less than your hunger/
want and don’t become a glutton/ guzzle to avoid stomach ailments. Don’t
titillate your taste buds, but stimulate your hunger. If you wear a band
engraved with a word “CONTROL” on it on your wrist to, always, remind you to
keep control over your body, mind and senses; it will work wonders in your
life.
If a person takes care of his/ her
physique by opting certain simple rules it will go a long way in maintaining
sound health. To slow down ageing process we should not dehydrate our bodies to
become victims of constipation and toxins. Eating proper food in proper
quantity and rising from bed and sleeping on time make a vast difference. Also
regular moderate exercise, walking, loitering, visiting new places very often,
stretching, proper posturing and frowning, push-ups and wearing loose clothes
is very beneficial. Sometimes, fasting helps us to detoxify our body and calm
down our nerves. Undertaking exercises of giggles, laughter and humour lift-up
our mood and jaw-droppings improve our facial appearance. We should always keep
our mind engaged in useful activities as the empty mind is devil’s workshop.
We should always avoid fast and fatty
and fried foods as these obstruct our digestive system and cause obesity. Foods
containing fibre, vitamins and minerals including nuts and seeds, yoghurt,
fruits and veg. salads are beneficial for our health. Non-vegetarian food is
not easily digestible but is processed through non-violent ways. Smoking,
alcohol consumption and drug addiction promote violence. Use of less sodium and
sugar/ sweet will keep away heart problems and diabetes. Use of Aloe Vera is
very useful for all disorders of skin, dental diseases, treating hair loss,
control of blood sugar level, treatment of burns and for detoxifying body etc.
Use of Soya beans and its derivatives which contain high quality of protein are
useful for cancer patients, growing children, recouping patients, for dropping
hot flushes and to boost immunity against many diseases. Many natural herbs and
‘Sidhas’ (treatments) are available with which we can eradicate several
diseases.
There are many other diseases which
are not taken care of at the stage of their on-set. There is special mention of
HIV/ AIDS, diabetes, kidney problems, cholesterol, high blood pressure,
depression (schizophrenia), Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, arthritis,
constipation/ bowel disorders, cataract of eyes and Parkinson disease
(neurological problem due to loss of dopamine in brain which cannot be
regenerated) etc. We should also take care of our bone problems by absorbing
vitamin ‘D’ mainly from sun rays. Vitamin ‘D’ helps in absorption of calcium.
We should avoid taking steroids, as far as possible, which disallow or retard
supply of blood, create itchy skin and sprout hair on face and back.
We have learnt a lot from Nature
which is our true preceptor. We have known and realized God, with vision,
through nature which is working under the strict command of God. The pristine
nature has provided stabilization and peace, through concentration, to our
wandering mind and we have derived a great pleasure and benefit in the company
of nature. Our sages and saints have best utilized nature to gain deep
knowledge about Supreme Lord and attained bliss. Meditation is one way to
commune with God in lone and silent moments and introspection of our progress
like clarity and insight. Let us turn to Him as He is Divine Light which is
very necessary to keep us calm and our body and mind fit and fine. Watching the
lapping of water, on exotic beaches, of sea tides singing melodious songs in
honour of Lord Master give solace to our mind. Sometimes drenching in rain
water, while hand in hand of a friend, and walking bare-foot on sea sand help
us in calming down our frayed nerves. Also scanning the star-lit night with
moon’s gentle rays and its corona give spectacular experience of nature.
Besides, experiencing the whiff of air emanating from the fragrance of
blooming, at peak, of flowers of “Raat Rani” (Night Queen) in a lush green
garden exhilarate our mood. The natural scenes cast profound spell of serenity
and calmness on our heart and mind and are soul stirring.
Spirituality plays a great role in
maintaining our health with wisdom. It removes the dross of vices from our life
and purifies it. By ignoring and subjugating the vices/ bad habits we cognize
and discriminate diligently between good and bad and wrong and right which is
necessary for mental health leaving the results of karmic activities to Lord
Nirankar. By doing virtuous deeds we throw away the devil so tightly dwelling
inside us. It should not become a rancor/ bind/ bitterness/ resentful in
bonding your relations with others. Never try to avenge the misdeeds of others,
as far as possible, to derive pleasure. For survival one has to make
relationships and live collectively in harmony. Our attachment towards others
is mainly due to affinity. Even for life’s tedious journey we require a
companion. Also to make friendship one’s cortex in brain should be active.
Shrug off non-violence through body, mind and words. Try to know (envision) God
through love, faith and belief and not reasoning or be trapped in fake/ blind
faith, myths and customs. Don’t create possessive love for anything as your
life is in transit. In case you are embroiled in un-necessary worldly desires
(carnal pleasures), aspirations, wants, expectations and perfections you will
be inviting more and more miseries in life which will cause loss of sleep
(insomnia) and debilitate you in every respect. Meditate upon the Lord for His
grace and blessings. You should not take interest in sensual desires of any
kind but you should have spiritual bent. Mind it that by becoming lecherous man
you will not be able to control your latent
and vital potency/ energy (semen) which can be used for the humble service of
mankind.
With your own will and courage and
with the protective hand of God at your back, you will have a great tenacity to
overcome many problems. The dulcet breeze of divine grace will start blowing in
your favour. You will sing even the sad songs with pleasure. The situation will
reach to such an extent that your anklets will start emanating pleasant, enchanting
and thrilling tinkling sound without wearing them and also sing in jolly and
upbeat mood and dance with paeans of Lord on your lips while swinging, whirling
and swirling with teem and absorbent with exaltation in a groove. The author
hopes that by now you are completely transformed to attain internal and
external health.
